Compared with traditional flow meters, ultrasonic flow meters have the following characteristics:
Easy installation: external clip-on installation, no need to cut the pipe. This is very different from traditional flow devices. Users simply clip the flow sensor to the pipe surface. Then the ultrasonic flowmeter can detect the flow rate through ultrasonic waves and automatically calculate the flow rate value, flow totalizer, etc. No pipe cutting means no pipe damage. This advantage is more suitable for strong acids, strong alkali, poisoning, corrosive liquids, etc. Traditional mechanical flow meters must use moving parts to "sense" flow, which disrupts flow conditions. At the same time, with the use of moving parts, the flow accuracy will decrease, the moving parts will deteriorate, and the user must replace a new flow measurement device. Ultrasonic flow meters have no moving parts and do not need to come into contact with the fluid, so there is no pressure loss.
